Hot in the City: Mango Lassi


This refreshing drink is sure to please everyone at an early afternoon gathering. A Lassi is a traditional Indian drink that is basically a yogurt based smoothie. Making a Mango Lassi is so simple:

serves two

What you’ll need:

  • 2 mangos (diced)
  • 2 cups of plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 lime for garnish

What you’ll need to do:

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth. Pour into two glasses, garnish with a lime wedge, and enjoy!
