Hot in the City: Mango Lassi

Kick off the official, unofficial start to the summer with this refreshing summertime treat! If you are having guests spend the night, this lassi is the perfect morning treat. A lassi is a traditional Indian drink that is basically a yogurt based smoothie.


serves two

What you’ll need:

  • 2 mangos (diced)
  • 2 cups of plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 lime for garnish

What you’ll need to do:

  • In a blender, combine¬†all ingredients until smooth.
  • Pour into two glasses, and garnish with a lime wedge.
